Refund Policy

1. Our Commitment
At JobSync, we invest significant time, expertise, and resources into every candidate from the moment they join us. Our team begins working on your behalf immediately — rewriting your CV, identifying suitable roles, engaging with employers, and preparing you for the UK job market. Because of this hands-on approach, we have structured our refund policy to reflect the genuine value delivered at each stage of the process.
2. Statutory Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of payment for a full refund, provided that service delivery has not yet commenced. If you have requested that services begin within the cooling-off period (for example, by attending an onboarding call or submitting your details for CV preparation), you acknowledge that you waive the right to a full refund proportionate to the services already provided.
3. Refund Eligibility — Before Interview Stage
If you wish to cancel after services have commenced but before you have attended any final-stage interview with a prospective employer, the following applies:
- Within the first 7 days of onboarding (no CV delivered): You may request a refund of 75% of the package price. The remaining 25% covers administration, profile assessment, and initial employer research conducted on your behalf.
- After CV delivery but before employer submissions: A 50% refund may be available at our discretion. The retained amount reflects the professional CV writing service (valued at £150) and account setup costs already incurred.
- After employer submissions have begun but before any interview: A 25% refund may be available at our discretion. By this stage, our team has completed substantial work including CV preparation, employer outreach, and application management.
4. No Refund After Attending a Final Interview
Once you have attended at least one final-stage interview with a prospective employer arranged through our service, no refund will be issued. At this point, JobSync has fully delivered on its core commitment: we have professionally prepared your candidacy, matched you with a sponsoring employer, secured genuine interview access, and guided you through the recruitment process up to and including a live interview opportunity.
A final-stage interview represents the culmination of our service — it is the tangible outcome of weeks of dedicated work by our recruitment team, from your initial CV rewrite through to employer negotiation and interview scheduling. The hiring decision that follows rests solely with the employer and is outside JobSync’s control. Our obligation is to deliver interview opportunities with genuine, sponsorship-holding UK employers, which has been fulfilled.
This policy exists because securing a final-stage interview requires us to deploy the full scope of our resources: professional CV preparation, targeted employer outreach, application management, interview coaching, and direct employer liaison. These are services that cannot be “returned” once delivered.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund (where eligible), please email info@jobsync.co.uk with the subject line “Refund Request” and include:
- Your full name
- The email address used at the time of purchase
- Your package type (Professional or Elite)
- Your reason for requesting a refund
All refund requests are assessed individually and on their own merits. We aim to be fair and reasonable in all cases.
6. Processing Time
Refund requests are reviewed within 5 working days of receipt. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 working days. You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been issued.
7. Non-Refundable Circumstances
In addition to the final-interview clause above, refunds will not be issued where:
- You have provided false, misleading, or materially incomplete information in your application or CV.
- You have failed to respond to communications from our team for more than 14 consecutive days during your active service period.
- You have been offered interview opportunities but declined to attend without reasonable cause.
- Your active service period (30 days for Professional, 90 days for Elite) has expired.
- Services have been terminated due to a breach of our Terms & Conditions, including abusive behaviour towards staff.
8. Upgrades
If you upgrade from the Professional package to the Elite 1:1 package, only the additional amount paid for the upgrade is subject to this refund policy. The original Professional payment is assessed based on the stage of service reached at the time of the upgrade.
9. Disputes & Escalation
We take all complaints seriously. If you are unhappy with the outcome of a refund request, you may escalate your concern by emailing info@jobsync.co.uk with “Refund Escalation” in the subject line. A member of our senior management team will review your case and respond within 10 working days.
